Nach der Gründung der Interessengemeinschaft, Gesprächen mit der Eigentümerin des Platzes, Stadt Köln, Banken und benachbarten Vereinen kam die Sache ins Rollen. 6 Monate nach dem Beginn der Planungen durften die Kinder nun ihre neue Schaukel im Rahmen des zum 4. Mal stattfindenden Spielplatz- und Nachbarschaftsfestes in Besitz nehmen. Genauso stolz wie die Kinder sind auch die Mitglieder der aus 17 Personen bestehenden Interessengemeinschaft unter der Leitung von Robert Peukert und der 2.
